I am having alot of time using layout manager, especially gridlayout. it seems I can't use both row and column at the same time. i only can use either row or colmn. does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I don't understand your question.
You can put control into exact row/col position.

I don't understand the problem you are describing either. More detail and a test case would be a good idea. Screen shots are always good.
