how to open model ecore file in editor (not in text)?
while trying to open in-place editor, got message, that there is no OLE
editor registered ...
and yes, I run transformation - it is successfull. ATL 2.0.2, eclipse 3.4.2

besides, how to compile km3 to ecore?
what does "map to ecore" right click menu option?

The default xmi editor needs the metamodel to be registered. So to open
a model, you need to create the emf plugins from the .ecore file which
will register the metamodel.

You should ask the am3 newsgroup:

It is an EMF action, here is a wiki page I found about it:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/EMF/Recipes#XMI.2FXML_Serialization_ Recipes

Best regards,

William

it may sound odd... but how to do this? the latest version of ATL which I
used wasn't so sophisticated - more straigtforward and simple :-)

Yeah, yeah, those old stagnatic bastards, who refuse to dig for several
days into cutting-end version of ATL ... but I wish, that there would be
an option to download ATL pre v2 bundles
