Check to see if there are tabs on the bottom of the editor. If there is one that says Source, you should be able to use that to edit the source directly. If there are no tabs, then it sounds like your environment has a dedicated editor associated with .xsl files. In this case, you should be able to right click on the file and select Open with from the context menu. This gives you a list of available editors. Try the other editors until you get one you are comfortable with.

ahh, thanks. i was in design view it looks like. i see Source, thats what i was looking for. Thanks much for that!

The design view i have used with Dreamweaver. Im wondering how well that Design view works with things like CSS and HTML now because i didnt know eclipse had a design view.

Having a Design page depends on the editor. Be sure to check your options on a file's Open With context menu.

First, you shouldn't hijack threads with unrelated question.

Second, this is not an Android forum. Android is not developed or
supported by Eclipse. You need to find and Android development forum
and ask your question there.
