Hi,
Does anybody know if there is a solution to extract an ATL model.ecore to
an ATL file.atl?
I'm trying to set up a high order transformation from an ATL model to
another ATL model and i want to see the result of my hih-order
transformation, to see if i'm producing the modifications i want. I know i
can directly compile the ATL model without having to go throw the file.atl
step but in development time i need to see what i'm producing in the form
of the ATL textual representation.

i have found a solution but it is quite difficult to apply, it is by
creating my own code generator using Xpand (from the openarchitectureware
project). Does anybody know if this is the best solution or is there a
more staightforward one?!!

PS: i found a documentation on Xpand here:

hi, thanks Denis
i tried the ant task but i couldn't get it to work, but i reinstalled ATL2
with AM3 and in the AM3 perspective there is a contextual menu on the
ecore file with a function that extracts an ATL model to an ATL file, so
now i'm using this function of AM3, i continue working on ATL3 for the
High order transformation and to take a look to what is produced by the
HOT i switch to the second eclipse installation with ATL2 to extract the
file. The important thing is that i can continue now.
