Hi all,
I Have seen that modisco provides a component for xml reverse engineering.
Are there some tutorials or project examples for using this reverse engineering component?
Cheers

Hello,

You should take a look to the latest version of the MoDisco documentation, especially to the "XML Discoverer" section providing the corresponding user documentation: http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/modisco/doc/org.eclipse.modisco.doc/
Basically, this discoverer can be applied on any XML document independently from its XSD or DTD.
I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Hugo

Thanks Hugo for the response.
Do you have an idea on how to do reverse engineering from C++ to UML using modisco?
Is there a generic modelDiscoverer that can be customized to C++?
Is there an existing C++ metamodel?
Thanks

Hello,

We don't currently provide support for C++ within MoDisco (no metamodel and discoverer available for that language).
Taking a look to what is available from the Eclipse CDT project could be the first step to start.
We don't have resources now to work on this, but we are still open to any interesting contribution Smile
