package explorer expands to a java file corresponding to editor windows switching [message #827460]

hi all
when I use Ctrl+Shift+T to find a java file and it get focus on editor window. the left side package explorer will automatically expands to this java file. That's cool. But on another machine with the same version of eclipse. the package explorer don't response to editor window. What's wrong with it?
I use Helios Service Release 2 in Ubuntu 11.04

I found the solution in stackoverflow(I can't add link)
just click a button named "Link with the editor"
