Embedding YouTube [message #826338] Wed, 21 March 2012 20:20 Go to next message

Hi there, I'm trying to embed a youtube video in a rich text field with this sample HTML that I have tested outside EPF:

<p>
This is an embedded YouTube Video
</p>
<iframe height="360" src="YOUTUBE VIDEO URL GOES HERE" frameborder="0" width="640"
allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
<p>
This was an embedded YouTube Video
</p>

But whenever I save the HTML, EPF removes the code that embeds the video. There seems to be some sort of setting that strips out "offending" HTML, but I can't find it. Any ideas?

PS. I had to strip out the original link because I'm not allowed to post them!

There is a online example with instructions. Unfortunately I cannot add links to replies. But if you search Google for:

"embed a video" epf

You will find it. It will be top of the list.

I think this might work (add slashes in spaces):
onknows.wordpress.com 2011 10 30 embed-video-epf-rmc

Else:

In the latest EPF 1.5.1.3, theres an option in the Rich Text editor to "insert custom html or video".

Regards,

Alejandro.
