Hello everyone,
I have been using PDT in Eclipse for awhile now but have run into some
oddities with the Code Assist functionality and was wondering if someone
could advise me. I apologize in advance if my lack of knowledge on any
subject.
Potentially necessary info:
OS: Windows 2003 Server
Eclipse: 3.5 Galileo - fully updated
PDT: 2.1.0
Zend Debugger: 5.2.26.v20090514
PHP 5.2.8
Everything is working fantastic on the system and has made my life
extremely easy as far development and debugging. When I start a project
everything works as expected but recently, as the project becomes larger
and more complex, the code assist is starting to act very strange.
The code assist produces the list of functions/properties I should be able
to access from a class, but the function/property names are garbled (ie -
random characters or unrelated data). I have reinstalled eclipse, rebuilt
the workspace from scratch, even gone as far as starting on a clean system
(I develop in virtual machines so bringing up a clean system is not too
much trouble). I does not happen all the time, but definitely often enough
to notice.
Has anyone experienced this and did you find a work-around?
All help is appreciate.
-Cary
