Hello All,

I am using Birt runtime viewer 3.7.2.

Can any one help in customizing the look and feel of the report viewer. I need to change the Title from "Birt runtime viewer" (the one that we see able the toolbar) to an image and also need to display the image in center.

Hope I am clear with my question.

Well all the code for the Viewer UI, if you are using eclispe, is in [eclipse instal dir]/plugin/org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer_<version>/birt/webcontent/birt/pages/control. But you will have to modify the .js file corresponding the .jsp file you've modify in webcontent/birt/ajax/ui/app. I've done it for the print on server window and navigation bar, it wasn't an easy task though so I suggest to to a copy off your org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer_<version> directory so you can come back to a working viewer anytime you want.

we have built our own viewer using the api from BIRT. we have download / export / print / pagination. This way we dont have have to mess up with the original viewer code. And you will have total control of what to show etc.
But this will take some time
