... doesn't give me the option of using Git. Jumps straight into CVS screen.

Any ideas how I can force Git? I want to use GitHub.

Using Eclipse Indigo on Windows 7.

Thanks

Did you install eGit? http://www.eclipse.org/egit/

(CVS was the first and a sort of default.)

Under "Available Software Sites", download.eclipse.org/egit/updates is "Enabled" so I think I've installed eGit...

Only enabling the update-site is not enough - you need to install eGit
from there! The update-site is only preconfigured so that you can easily
install eGit.
