Is it possible to create a subset or a group?
by now every set is a folder, so i would like to create a subfolder of that. because it would be better to map a java object to the designer (shows the dependencies between the objects better...)

is this possible?

Ludwig,

Can you give some more detail on what you need? BIRT supports grouping
data, but that does not sound like what you are talking about.

i do not mean grouping the data.
this image should explain what i mean: (left side how it is now, right side how it should be)

http://www.biooffice.at/tl_files/java/birt.png
it shows an excursion, which got an sub.object additional and administrated, which shall be displayed as own collapseable group/folder
this would save me from creating those nasty names too Wink

it should work
my problem is that here ALL image hosts are blocked (and eclipse forum does not support attachments - does it?) that's why i have to upload it to our company's page

try a direct link:
http://www.biooffice.at/tl_files/java/birt.png

iff this still does not work i'll have to find another solution

Ludwig,

I got the image. Currently this is not possible in BIRT, but would make
a great enhancement request. Can you open a bugzilla entry for this?
