Hi,

I'm new to EMF Compare but very interested in it. I am working on
integrating our product and EMF model with the Eclipse Team framework.
Currently I'm looking at Model Merging and then on to a Compare editor
to resolve conflicts. Needless to say, I was very excited to find the
work you have done so far!

I'm trying to get a feel for when the 3-way merging will be available
for initial use and when it is expected to be released. I saw in an
earlier post that 3-way merging is already implemented in the 0.8 branch
and would be available soon.

Do you have rough time frames for 0.8 integration builds as well as the
release?

Thanks!
Dave

Hi Dave,

As you may have noticed, the 0.7.0 has been released but we still need to
ask for a release review for the community. We'll provide 0.8.0 interim
build as soon as all these issues are fixed. I don't really know how much
time is needed for this process but we'll try to do that as quickly as
possible. I hope interim builds will be available in the following days.

The 0.8.0 is planned for the end of the year, depending, of course, of the
number of issues we have to fix with the new features.
