I'm trying to import robjects from rpy2 in eclipse like this:

import rpy2.robjects as robjects

This gives the following error:

sh: module: line 1: syntax error: unexpected end of file
sh: error importing function definition for `module'

When I try the same directly in the shell it does not give an error. The python version I was using in the shell is the same as the one which eclipse is using.

The eclipse version that I'm using is

EasyEclipse for Python
Version: 1.3.1

on
CentOS 2.16.0

What does eclipse do with the import that the shell doesn't, and how can I fix it?
