Hello,

I'm testing VE I20050609. Congratulations to the VE team!

I observed when I copy a Swing component and I paste it,
the size of the element pasted is different form the original
component copied. It seems the component is pasted at
its preferred size. Is this OK?

Yes, that is the way it works. The same thing would happen if you
dropped from a palette, or tried to move it from one container to another.

This is something we need to tackle so I've opened a bug
