problem creating c/c++ project [message #780479]

Hello!
I'm unable to create C /C++ project in my eclipse indigo installation.
When I choose new project and selects either C or C++ i need to clic "next" twice and then an empty box popps up where I usually are able to choose project-type and toolchaings.

I suspect that there is a missing dependency somewere to my codesourcery G++ lite installation that could cause this problem but I don't konw how to solve it. But it could be something else.

I have just installed ubuntu 11.1 and run the command
sudo apt-get install eclipse
sudo apt-get install eclipse-cdt
to get eclipse and all dependencies.

and also installed codesourcery eabi "Sourcery CodeBench Lite 2011.09-70"

The plugins that I have installed to eclipse is:
subversive
gnu armC/C++ development support
Dynamic Languages Toolkit Remote Development Support
Remote System Explorer End-User Runtime
Remote System Explorer User Actions

I just followd the installation instructions from : www.soliddigi.com/news/shownews.php?lang=en&id=35

I have also run the "check for updates" command in eclipse
There is some packages that shows up which are unable to be installed because of dependency problems. This is a bit strange I think because i installed everyting earlier the same day.

any suggestions what could be the problem except my lack of skills in ubuntu?

There is still problem with the project and i have discovered some more information about things that doesn't work.
I tried to open an existing c-project but were unable to do so. I got an errormessage

"Multiple problems have occurred"
org/eclipse/cdt/internal/core/SafeStringInterner
An error has occurred. See error log for more details.

I have checked my workspace .metadata/.log but the .log does not exisit
I have also checked usr/lib/eclise/configuration to search for error-logs but there is none.

Where do I find the error logs? I can't find a folder called org/eclispe/cdt... either..
