I downloaded the eclipse classic. How can I get it to install?

The installation procedure for Eclipse is to unzip it. You need to make
sure you keep the directory structure.

You then run the eclipse executable in the directory where you unzipped.

I would suggest you explicitly specify the jdk/jre you want to use to
run Eclipse on either the command line with the -vm argument, or edit
the eclipse.ini file to specify the location.

Every time I want to unzip the files, it asks me for a password.
Where do I go from here?

1. Extract the Eclipse zip folder.
2. You will find the purple color icon with name "Eclipse".
3. Double click and run it.

You need not install the software because it is stand alone.
