I have an Eclipse RCP application distributed to my users.
I create an Eclipse update site on the company IIS server that has an EV certificate.
It uses the "HTTPS" but no username or password is required.
When I run the the Eclipse update I get an error:
Unable to read repository at https://fso.accenture.com/fsd/1.0/content.xml.
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
I tested the same with a standard certificate and it works fine.
Looking at the log file, I get the following stack:
