Hi,
I'm trying to set an environment for using TPTP with the Agent Controler.
I've downloaded agent controler from:
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/tptp/4.2 .1/TPTP-4.2.1-200609071820D/agntctrl.win_ia32-TPTP-4.2.1.zip
and started it on my AMD Sempron 64bit processor on my Windows box.

Developer computer works under Debian Linux on AMD Athlon 64bit
processor. I want to start
all tests via LAN network e.g. using the host: 192.168.0.103:10002 which
is Windows computer
running ACServer.exe from the agent direcotory.

When I enter the 'Profile...' dialog in Eclipse with TPTP plugin (on my
Debian machine)
the list of agents is empty. If I test the connection to the Windows
Agent Controler
TPTP says it can connect, but on the 'Agent' tab the list is empty and I
cannot continue
with the profiling...

I've digged the net search for help but with no effect. Please help

So I presume the 64-bit Windows box is running a 32-bit version of
Windows? Not a 64-bit version?

Okay, got it... looks fine.

So what "profiling agent" are you running on the Windows box? The AC
will only pass on registered agents. Usually that means some Java
program started with "-XrunpiAgent"... such a Java program loads the
piAgent.dll agent code from the AC directory... and that registers as an
agent with the AC.

It's a common problem that people think that if the AC is running there
should be agents visible. But there are no agents if you don't start them.

See the "Getting started with the Agent Controller" file that should be
in the AC package as getting_started.html. That describes starting
profiling agents.
