[EMF Compare] Unable to open textual diff popup for string EAttribute [message #764847]

I'm unable to get the textual diff popup, as shown in
http://wiki.eclipse.org/EMF_Compare/Textual_diff_in_model_diff, to
appear for a string EAttribute in my EMF Compare. see attached, the
selected item is a String EAttribute, but the popup doesn't show an
option for the textual diff dialog. double clicking doesn't have any
effect either. is there some configuration needed to enable this
feature? I'm running 1.2.1.v20110913-0926.

John,

This feature had been added for 1.2.0, and should work in your case. I cannot get this to fail testing with the latest development head. However, I had never seen the "remove UUID Annotations" menu item either, nor do I know the icon of the file you're comparing. Can you reproduce this issue when comparing Ecore or UML models, or do this only happen with the kind of models you were comparing for this screenshot? If so, could you provide us with test models?
