I am using cdo 4.0.0 (org.eclipse.emf.cdo_4.0.0.v20110608-1639.jar).
It is configured to use postgresql through a sloow connection.
When I try to save the first model to a new database, I get a timeout.
I believe it is related to the fact that hibernate creates the necessary tables, and it is not exactly lightning fast over that connection.
Looking for the issue in the forum I have noticed that the timer is being reset when big chunks of data are being commited. Maybe the case when the database preparation gets long wasn't considered? Can the corresponding timeout value be set as a workaround?
I guess mine is not a common use case. I have attached cdo-server.xml for reference.
