I'm not sure if this is a known bug...seems somehow related to bug 7811,
but worse.
The problem is this (eclipse version 2.1.1):
Whenever some kind of automatic source modification is done (like, organize
imports, add javadoc comment, those two seem to trigger it usually), my
cursor disappears and I am unable to type. Eclipse also stops responding to
any form of keyboard input (shortcuts). Curiously, I can see the grey line
indicating cursor position, and can move it using the mouse.
It can be fixed by using the mouse to Add Javadoc comment (or something
else, don't know, that one always does it no matter what the original
command was). Everything will then again work as normal.
I am unable to reproduce this consistently, and it only started happening
since a few weeks, but it happens regularly since then. As you can imagine,
it's pretty annoying.
I'm using debian unstable i386 on windowmaker, using Sun's jdk1.4.2.
Any ideas?
