hi,
I have an ecore file which does not contain an error when I validate it
with Eclipse 3.2.1 but when I make the validation with Eclipse Europa, I
have the following error:"the default value literal must be a valid
literal of the attribute's type"
I do not manage to correct the error !
how to make ?
thank you very much

Hi, William,

Please use the EMF newsgroup (to which I have replied) for questions about
EMF proper.

In EMF 2.3, the Ecore and GenModel editors now validate a considerable
number of well-formedness constraints. Your Ecore model is no more broken
than it was in EMF 2.2 (Eclipse 3.2). :-)

To resolve this problem, either assign a default value to your attribute
that conforms to the constraints of its type, or update the type's
constraints such that the default value is valid.

To find the particular attribute that is the problem, switch to the regular
tree-view page of the editor, select your root EPackage, and select
"Validate" on the context menu. This will create a problem marker and
decorate the problem attribute with a red X.

Christian
