ClassNotFoundException for javax.crypto class [message #762071]

Hello everyone.

When I run one of my bundles in the Virgo container, I get a ClassNotFoundException for classes in the javax.crypto package.

Why would that be?

I am using Virgo 3.0 and Java 6.

Hi,

Have you checked of your JRE actually has the classes for which you get the ClassNotFoundException?
Also another way to check what'w wrong is to try the classloading commands. Documentation can be found here: http://www.eclipse.org/virgo/documentation/virgo-documentation-3.0.2.RELEASE/docs/virgo-user-guide/htmlsingle/virgo-user-guide.html#admin-shell-class-loading
