Delay after adding includes to recognize objects [message #760897] Mon, 05 December 2011 09:31
Eclipse UserFriend
I've noticed that when I add new includes, there, at times, is a delay... 5, 10, 15 minutes or so before the tool kit recognizes the objects that are in that library. The editor will show an error on those objects as "Symbol 'mysymbol' could not be resolved." It fails to compile when in this state.

When I first noticed the problem, I "fixed it" by tinkering around. Not sure what I did, it just seemed to start working on its own. Then shortly there after when I couldn't figure out why another project wasn't seeing the object, I went to a meeting, came back, and it was 'magically' recognized.

Any ideas as to why it is taking so long for the editor to recognize the included objects?
