[XCore] Can't build it [message #759714]

Hi,

I just read something about XCore. Looks quite useful to me, so I wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, I am not able to build it. What I did is:

1st: Downloaded & extracted developer build of Eclipse Modeling Tools (Juno M3)
2nd: Installed stuff from XText nightly build update site (wtf? can't post links? http: // download.itemis.com/updates/nightly/). Actually, I installed everything that is located in a group not having Helios in its name and not the TMF-Xtext-N* (2.1.x) stuff.
3rd: Cloned the xcore git repository.

However, the build fails (the XText code-gen seems to fail, I get some error saying "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/inject/internal/Maps"). I'm not experienced in using XText, so I do not really know whats the problem here.

Would be glad if somebody could help me to get XCore running.

Newly registered people can't post links because spammers take advantage
of that. :-(

You need Xtext 2.1...

The Google inject stuff should be installed as part of Xtext's install...

Can you tell exactly which version of Xtext you ended up installing?
