When I clone a remote repository I get to choose which branches to clone, I select two but only one (the intial branch) is present under local branches afterwards - is there something I'm missing here?

Do you see the branches available under the Remote Tracking folder that is a sibling of the Local folder?

OK the documentation could be more clear on this - it seems that one needs to create a local branch out of the remote banches in order for them to apear in the local branches - which is hard to know if one is not already familar with Git.

Pushed http://egit.eclipse.org/r/4643 for review in order to make this clear for unexperienced users.
