Hello community,

I am new to modelling UML/SysML using the Eclipse Platform. I want to model a network topology which consists for example of 2 switches of the same type and of 2 computers:

computer ---- switch ---- switch ---- computer

The switches are both from the same type (4 ports). Now, I thought of creating a general type for a switch consisting of 4 ports. Later I just want to drop different instances of the switch to the SysML block definition diagram and interconnect the predefined ports of the switches.

Unfortunately, all of my attempts have been without success. Furthermore, Google also did not point me in the right direction. Sad

For any help, hints I am very thankful!
Thanks in advance,
sven
