GDB (DSF) Debugging : Issue in Refreshing Debug Views [message #756199] Fri, 11 November 2011 08:11
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi all,
I am facing a refresh problem while debugging using GDB (DSF). Currently I am using Eclipse 3.7 and CDT 8.0 . The problem is the Debug views - registers, variables, expressions, memory, debug etc are not getting updated with changes in values in underlying layers during certain situations. For example while launching debugging a 'C' source, if 'stop at main' option is unchecked in Launch configuration, the editor is not updated with startup source file and other debug views are not updated.

Is there any solution to get these views get refreshed?

I heard about a solution to triggering a ISuspended event programatically and get the views updated. Can anybody help me on how to trigger this.Or Is there any way around...

Thanks in advance
