Hello Guys,

Eclipse JDT is using spell checker for java documentation string. Is any way to turn on spell checking for java code, I mean
variable, method, type names?

Nope, this is not possible. These is also a bug open for this..

I think I found report at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=51621. Is any plans to develop this enhancement in
nearest future?
We have part of developer working with IDEA and part of developers with Eclipse. Those who are working with IDEA, to my
disappointment, are producing higher quality code. One of the reasons is that they have spellchecker for Java code :(

Unfortunately, there are no plans to work on this for now. However, we
will accept a high quality patch.
