Hello everybody,

Can you explain me what is the linked mode in ECLIPSE indigo ?
You can find this mode here :
windows > preferences > general > Editors > Text editors > linked mode

Can you say me what he does and how see that please ?

I post this question because I don't find more explanation in help content in eclipse.

Thank a lot for help.

You see it in the Java editor for example. If you start to rename a
field or method, it will also mark the other occurrences of this member
inside the editor and while you type it updates all other (now linked)
occurrences.

Then you're not in the Java editor or your file is not on the build path.
