Hi, I've just set up Eclipse. I asked this on the newcomers board but was pointed in this direction so I'll ask here instead.

I'm having issues getting the editor to recognise some makefiles. Any makefiles with a makefile.xxxx extension are not recognised by the editor and therefore not coloured. Is there a way to get the editor to recognise any files called makefile.* ?

Thank you for any assistance. I was unable to find anything about it in the documentation.

Unfortunately, wildcards for the extension are not supported https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=142426
