Hi all,

here is the next step towards the 1.1 release of RAP. This milestone is
available for Eclipse 3.3 and 3.4. For details, see
http://www.eclipse.org/rap/noteworthy/news_11M3.php.

An update site that combines tooling and the target platform is
available at:

http://download.eclipse.org/technology/rap/update-site

For those already familiar with RAP: you won't need to download the
tooling again. You can get the new target platform from the downloads page:

http://www.eclipse.org/rap/downloads.php

Just download and let your workspace settings point to the new location
(see Window > Preferences > Target Platform).

We hope you enjoy
The RAP Team

Hi,

is it possible to get the M3 milestone from CVS (without getting the new
project structure of CVS HEAD)? I cannot find a tag or sth like that :-(

Regards,
Stefan.

Hi Stefan,

I am sorry to say so, but we didn't tag the CVS for M3.
To work around this you can check out from CVS HEAD and then use
"Switch to another Branch or Version" to specify the date you wish
to update from.

Hi Rüdiger,

thanks for the hint. It seems to work.

One little wish: Could you mark deleted methods as deprecated before
deleting them completely also if it isn't official API? The method
WidgetLCAUtil#writeCustomOrDefaultAppearance got lost with our recent
update and we didn't know why and what to use instead.

As I said, just a little wish. Generally, the M3 seems to be very stable
and I have found no new bugs so far :-) As I have a little notion of
your open tasks this is not understood.

Regards,
Stefan.
