I have a very large web.xml

To make it easier to read I have been adding extra white space and html style comments.

For unknown reason this information is getting stripped from my web.xml . It seems to happen when ever I add a new servlet to the project.

Any idea how I can add comments to my web.xml or how to get eclipse to stop stripping this stuff from the file?
