I think Eclipse really hates me!

First I try to get PHPEclipse working and cant to many obstacles.
Then I install a fresh Eclipse PDT bundle and My first test and nothing
works.
No auto web browser refresh =, the Code Assist does not work.
The Code Assist ctrl+spade does not work nor does the auto. You'ed think
that it would be in a contextual menu or a tool dpar menu but I can not
find it.!

This is really frustrating!

I am using OS X.

Does any one here have a fully Eclipse PDT?
If so whats you setup I'm REALY FREAKING OUT HERE ....

Is Eclipse PDT serious or just a wast of time like PHPEclips?

Are you using a 5.0+ JDK?

PDT won't work without 5.0+ as it depends on EMF 2.3+.

As to PHPeclipse, I've installed it into Eclipse 3.4 on windows and
linux using its update site without incident, using both JDK 5 and 6.

Looks like the Nightly update site is gone, replaced with this Stable site:
