I downloaded Eclipse IDE for Java Developers Windows 32bit as well as Eclipse Classic 3.7.1 and was unable to unzip the files.

I tried the Windows Explorer, WINZIP and WINACE.

Windows Explorer gave me some random error and WINZIP said the file was corrupt - they would not even show the files unextracted.

I then attempted to open the files using WINACE. It showed me the zipped files, but was unable to extract at all as it said the header file is corrupt and to try download the file again.

No amount of downloading the file again fixed the issue... and I'm at a total loss as how to get this extracted.

Please help.

Hi. Have ypi tried a mirror to get the file? Maybe the file on the server is corrupt in the first place. If you wish, I can pack and e-mail you a valid archive containing the setup.

Your downloads are most likely corrupted somehow. You can find the checksums to verify a successful download at http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-ide-java-developers/indigosr1 , just beneath the Download Links on the right. As Daniel mentioned, perhaps you should try a different mirror?
