Is there any possibility to create the RAP plug-in project using maven?

first, developing RAP plug-in projects is no other than developing any
plug-in project. Thus you can safely resort to the resources available
about plug-in development with maven in general. Maybe the Maven Eclipse
Plug-in [1] helps here.

But why would you want to create plug-in projects with Maven? Can't you
use PDE to develop plug-ins?
