I have just been looking at the extras-alf support provided for the papyrus modelling tool.
I am wondering why it is implemented in the way that it is.
There is a specific 'Edit Operation | Using Alf Editor' option that adds a comment with the Alf code in it.
Within the UML meta-model, operation behaviours are added via a method and an (i.e.) OpaqueBehaviour that has defined language and body properties.
Papyrus supports this (although the body editor doesn't work, and you have to add a body via the Advanced tab of the properties).
Why is this not used as the means to add Alf behaviour ??
