how do I control what is listed in the project explorer for a java perspective? I created a new project from an existing source tree, and the java perspective is displaying folders with non-java content. I only want to list java packages.

Click the triangle control at the extreme right of the button bar for
Package Explorer and choose Filters... . In the Project Explorer, it's
the same, but instead of Filters..., it's called Customize View... .

Hope this helps.
