I have absolutely no clue what happened. I got on my computer today to work on my android app for a while and saw my workspace was empty. Figuring it was just a glitch and i would re import my projects i went to the directory to find that the entire workspace folder was empty. Not a single file in it anywhere. I am using linux by the way. losf didnt mention the files at all. I checked the drive for errors and there were none. I havent moved any of the files i even did a find of my whole system for AndroidManifest.xml and it didnt see a single one. Every project I have ever done with eclipse on this computer is just gone. I have backup software running but my boss wont let us back up more than once a week because "i don't want you using all the bandwidth" i try to explain to him that it doesnt work that way but he doesn't care. It's not an app for a buisness or anything just a hobby. and its MY laptop not the company's so its nothing they did. I just use my network drive at work for backup. All those files are there. But the backup date is today, so all those files are almost 2 weeks old. Please has anyone seen something like this happen before. I never shut off my laptop improperly and the battery has never flat out died on me.
