Can anyone explain the intention behind an unmanaged formatter profile? And a workflow that involves it?
I want to share Project Specific Settings across my team, including a formatter profile. I've placed the .settings directory and its contents under source control. Now we all use the same settings. However, I would like any of us to be able to tweak the formatter settings and distribute the changes by committing them. Unfortunately, when one of us opens the Formatter config dialog the Active profile is called "Unmanaged profile 'Blah'" and cannot be edited.
Is there a way to stop my shared profile from appearing as unmanaged?
We're using Indigo.
Cheers
