Problems with Eclipse on OSX Lion/Snow Leopard [message #703836]

I've got an application that runs fine on Linux, but fails to run on OSX Snow Leopard or Lion (though it USED to work on Snow Leopard).

I believe the problem began when the June update for Java came out from Apple, but I'm not certain.

I'm wondering how I can troubleshoot the problem when there are no errors reported but the window fails to display.

You haven't provided enough detail for anyone to provide useful answers.
For example, what kind of application? What exactly are you doing,
what's your expected result, what's your observed result?

I am having the same problem. I have a project that uses Eclipse RCP 3.5, and it stopped working when I upgraded to Lion with Java 1.6.0_26.

I tested the same project on Linux, and it works with 1.6.0_20 but fails with Java 1.6.0_24.

Are older java versions available for Lion anywhere?
