Eclipse Doesn't Allow Software Installation [message #699581]

(note: I still cannot even get eclipse to open if anyone can help please see my first thread posted earlier today )
--> Instead I'm using a friend's computer in the meantime to use his Eclipse \
When I try to add the Android SDK, or anything for that matter, Eclipse does not allow it:
index.php/fa/3431/0/

any way to get eclipse to allow installation of new software?

here is the error in the mac's console:

is there perhaps a plugin missing? anyone else have this issue?
