Hi,

just a general question, is it true that you replace classes in rt.jar for
rap?
I heard this yesterday.

Greetings Martin

Martin,

I don't think so. Why would that be necessary?

well, thatŽs exactly the question, i didnŽt get the point on this truly,
but the topic on the presentation was classloaders, and a class which gets
replaced due to the speaker was base64Encoder.. i said it would make no
sense.. but who knows

Martin,

RAP does't patch rt.jar. Maybe this was mistaken for the patch fragments
or equinox.registry patch to translate plug-in texts.

Cheers,
Rüdiger
