OK, this apparently is a really dumb question because all the Help information just says to open it. However, I haven't found anything that calls itself the "data source enterprise explorer" or similar nor that acts like it when I open it. However, this apparently is the key to managing jdbc connections so I appear to need to get into it to debug the problem I've been having.

I believe that that is part of the Data Tools Platform. If you don't see this view then you probably don't have DTP installed. You should be able to install it from the Help->Install New Software menu.

For questions about the DTP, please post to the corresponding forum.
