Hi All,

I am new to Eclipse and to Acceleo but it looks like the thing I need for my project.

I had no problem with installation and importing the sample generator.

However, when I right-click on the .chain file I do not get a Launch option. I have the Acceleo perspective selected.

Eclipse SDK
Version: 3.5.2
Build id: M20100211-1343

Acceleo - Text generation from models
Version: 3.1.0.v20110607-0602
Build id: R201106070602

Any ideas?

My solution was to manually install Eclipse Modeling Tools (Indigo). I was not aware that the Ubuntu repository was so far behind the Eclipse community.

So I am able to get started with the correct QuickStart tutorial now.

Hi,

Acceleo 2 used "chain" files to launch a generation, Acceleo 3 generates a Java launcher that you can call from the run configuration menu. It is better integrated with eclipse that way.
