Hi All

In short, is there an Eclipse web browser for OS X and can PDT use it in
debugging sessions?

Apologies in advance for any dumb questions. I'm new to this group and
also getting back into the saddle after a break from programming of a
couple of years.

FYI I am in the process of setting up an IDE for PHP development on my
MacBook. So far I have my LAMP stack, xdebug plus Eclipse. I am trying
PDT and PHP Eclipse.

I feel that PDT has the edge over PHP Eclipse except for one feature -
the internal web browser.

With PHP Eclipse I get a web browser built into my IDE. So, with PHP
Eclipse I can choose to remote debug within the IDE or using an external
browser.

With PDT remote debug sessions fire up my external browser. I don't know
if or how to control this. I also can't find a web browser within the IDE.

Any hints, tips or conversation would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards

Neil Williams

Dear PDT community

Following up my own post. There is an internal web browser on OSX. It is
activated through the Window > Show View > Other .... menu item.

Once activated a debugging session will use the internal browser.

This begs the questions: Why isn't this view part of the default PDT
perspective? What are the Debug Output and Browser Output views for?

Best regards
