Hi There,

I have been using eclipse for a good while, but recently I have noticed that helios hangs on my windows 7 machine when I start up. It wont even let me choose a workspace. If I click on it, it tells me it isn't responding and I have to shut down. Sometimes I can leave it for a little while, try again and it starts up. Or I shut down the machine and try again and it starts up. Sometimes I adjust the priority and then it starts up, but I can't be sure if all of these are just a coincidence.

It's very annoying as I can end up wasting 20 - 30 minutes trying different things only for it to start and the same thing I tried before not to work when I try it again.

All help much appreciated,

Kind Regards,

Kris.

Very strange indeed. Just a guess, but is there any chance that either
your Eclipse installation or your workspace is on a mounted (non-local)
file system?
