Is there any default 'Note' feature (a small yellow box with multiline text) in graphiti ? I guess its available in GMF by default.

There is however the other way to create a custom figure and allow for multiline text in it. But I just wanted to know if there already is one.

Thanks,
Murthy

Currently there's no 'Note' shape available in Graphiti. We already thought about such kind of "shape libraries" but have not yet concrete plans in that respect. Would something like that help you?

So, currently the custom feature with multi line text would be the way to go.

Thanks Michael.

Yes, It would definitely help us in our project. But it can take a lower priority as there is a workaround with custom feature.

Hello,

I have created a multi line text and its working alright with layouting and resizing.
However I had two doubts related to it.

1. How do I add a scroll bar to the text ?
2. The 'Enter' key is presently not accepted as it is considered as end of input. Any way around this ?

Thanks,
Murthy

1) Scroll bars are not supported, this was rejected by our UI-designers. I
also think that having scrollbars inside a shape will be rather strange. The
better approach would be to make the shape large enough for the text.
2) Shift-Enter will be treated as a line break.

Yes, It makes sense not to have a scroll bar inside a shape.
I'll try to resize my shape based on the text contents.

Thanks,
Murthy
