Hi all,
for my project it is a common usecase to change the product a bug is
assigned to. Unfortunately it does not seem possible to do so in our setup.
When I visited http://tasktop.com/products/eclipse/ I saw that the
product was editable in the upper screenshot.
My question is now: What are the prerequisites for the the product to be
editable in a bugzilla environment?
We use eclipse Ganymede SR2, mylyn 3.2 and bugzilla 3.0.4.
Thanks in advance

OK now I know what was the source of the problem.
The Product Attribute was readonly. Sync the Task should have worked to.

Really no one with an explanation or am I just missing something obvious?

Hi Markus,
you need Mylyn 3.1 to have this. Version 3.2 is not released. What Mylyn
Version did you use?
The actual weekly build is 3.2.0.I20090325-0500-e3x. If you did have this it
should work.

I upgraded to 3.2 weekly build, but still couldn't change the product.
Then I deleted my repository and added it again and - surprise, surprise
- I can change the product. Seems my metadata was too old or there went
something wrong upgrading it.
So it works now and I am happy not having to use the web frontend to do
it. Thank you for your help.
