I am reading book "Spring Dynamic Modules in Action" . In chapter 4, It introduced Spring DM 1.2's standard extender and whiteboard pattern .
Inside Virgo kernel (version 3.0.0M04), is virgo kernel keeping consistent with implementations of Spring DM 1.2's standard extender pattern( as special bundle to listen to other bundles' life cycle events ) , bundle event propagation and whiteboard pattern( Listening to extender events)?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes we use the whiteboard pattern in a lot of places, not just for listening to bundle lifecycle events. We don't use the extender pattern ourselves as we have no need, was there something in particular you were interested in?
